Evie – Just sold.

Evis is no longer available.  She will be making her new home in the United Kingdom!  Please look for more Wild Thyme Bears available soon through this blog.

Please meet little Evie, my newest creation  Evie is available right now through this website… directly from me.  Evie is what I like to call a “fantasy panda.”  I’ve used some traditional panda attributes, but put on a whole new imaginary twist!  She is available for $342.00, which includes USPS Priority shipping to any destination in the world!

Evie is made of two shades of rayon upholstery velvet… pale hazelnut brown and cream.  She measures a mere 4 inches standing, but retains all the intricate detail and personality of my full-sized creations.

Evie has armatured legs and arms to aid in posing.  Evie’s ruff is made of an incredible 100% silk ribbon that I have had in my stash forever!  It’s old store stock from the 1920’s.  It has a satin sheen to it, and is a pale blush color on one side with a pale gray-blue on the other.  I’ve gathered it using a millinery technique so that the reverse side shows a bit at the edge of each gather.

Evie’s little crown is also permanently attached and is made of a scrap of lace trim that I’ve stiffened and painted a shade of antique gold.

Her eyes are a delightful shade of blue-green.  I’ve given her sewn in upper eye lids and a contrasting rim of white along the lower eye.

She has tiny pulled and shaded toes!

She’s just the perfect size to snuggle in the palm of your hand!  She will arrive at her new home beautifully gift boxed and with a photo certificate of authenticity.  She is one of a kind.  Should you have questions, please contact me at :

Thank you.

Ribbon Work for my lovely German Friend

I can finally show the ribbon work I was messing around with a few weeks ago, as my surprise has made its arrival in Germany.  It’s done in shades of burgundy, rust, burnished orange, and antique gold, with avocado and forest green leaves.  The flat broach is shown as a hat.  The bear doing the modeling is already sold to another collector, and is on layaway.  She truly enjoyed the dress up game though!

Vintage style flat rose with pin broach back…

The same piece against a fabulous pair of crocheted gloves from my own collection…

Lace collar with pin-on rose.  This rose features vintage stamens in the center, and is more shaped like a natural flower…

And both pieces modeled by a full sized mohair bear….
